The Pet Daddies is a two-person, live-in pet sitting service run by Wayne and Jeff Bahr, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide live-in pet sitting in your home, caring exclusively for dogs and cats. Rates start at $145/day. See our full services and pricing.
We care for pets in their own home throughout the Bay Area, and travel to Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, and worldwide for assignments. As seasoned travelers, we bring the same live-in care and house-sitting standard wherever we go.
Why leave your pet in a kennel or boarding facility, when you can have someone stay with them in their own home? We will give your pets the comfort and attention you want them to have.
When you use our live-in pet sitting service, your pets will have someone with them almost constantly while you’re gone. They will never be alone for more than four hours at a time. And since we stay in your home, it’s looked after too, providing safety and security.
We’re insured and bonded through Business Insurers of the Carolinas, and members of Pet Sitters International (PSI).

How are we Different from Other Pet Sitters?
When you hire The Pet Daddies to care for your pets, our time is devoted to them. Unlike other pet sitters who visit several homes per day to care for pets, we will only be caring for your pets. There may be short periods of time when we leave for a trip to the grocery store, to go to dinner, etc. But, the majority of our time will be spent in your home with your pets.

The Meet & Greet is required prior to any pet sitting services. During this meeting we will talk in detail about your travel plans, your pets, and home. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit for you and your pets.

Are you insured?
Yes. We’re insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas, and can provide proof of insurance on request.
What are your rates for live-in pet sitting?
Rates start at $145/day, with the exact amount depending on location, number of pets, and care required. We’ll go over specifics during your Meet & Greet.
Will my pets ever be left alone?
When we stay in your home, your pets are never left alone for more than 4 hours in any 24-hour period.
How far will you travel for an assignment?
Most of our assignments are in the San Francisco Bay Area. However, we are also available for live-in pet sitting assignments throughout the U.S. and worldwide.
Who will be in my home while I’m away?
Only Wayne and Jeff, and no one else.
